The Lincoln Viking 2450 Series Black Auto Darkening Welding Helmet now includes redesigned headgear, and external grind button. This light weight (20 oz.) hood has grind mode, shade 5-13 continuously variable control, internal sensitivity and delay controls. These helmets are Magnifying "cheater" lens capable and hard hat adapter capable.

Probably the best helmet on the market for the price. So many features make this stand out above the rest. I used a cheap $50 helmet before this and can’t believe what a difference a quality helmet makes for visibility and the quality of my welds. Highly recommend. I have one of these myself and just bought another as a gift for my son. These really improve our ability to see. The difference in the light from using a standard green shield is a tremendous improvement. If you are an older welder with bifocals, this should really enhance what you can see both before and during the weld even without using a cheater lens. If you use a cheater you may want the smaller view shield as the larger screen creates a demarkation line since it is so much taller of a screen and view.
