• Non-Radioactive. Good for use in Alternating Current (A/C) for aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys in low to medium amperage applications using transformer based constant current power sources only.
• Balls easy, tends to spit at higher amperages. Used for non-critical welds only.
Pure Tungsten forms a clean, balled end when heated and provides good arc stability for AC welding with a balanced or unbalanced squarewave or sine wave. It is composed of 99.5% Tungsten and .5% other. Materials Welded- Aluminum and Magnesium. Package of 10

Well... I accidentally purchased the wrong CKW Tungsten sets & had to ask for an authorization to ship them back... as I made the mistake. Unfortunately, shipping items back was pretty expensive... but is what it is. Thought I was ordering light green ones & they showed up as dark green Tungsten. Welding Store was good to work with & just waiting on refund. Ordered other ones & cannot wait to use them.

I could have bought via Amazon. I could have bought via local store. Instead, I elected to use WeldingStore because of complete offerings and full information on website. Everything was in stock. Time isn't everything.... Thanks...can't wait for my goodies!
