The GOOD Part:Great service from the Welding Store with a great price, and you know that a 2 stage regulator keeps that set-pressure very stable without all the drift of a single stage reg and that they are pricey but work like a dream. The BAD Part: The Mfgr did not bag and use cap-plugs to protect this oxygen regulator according to CGA and AIGA recommendations: a very very dangerous situation that could be fixed by capping and bagging the oxygen regulator so that all that cardboard and dirt stays out after they cleaned and assembled brand new regulator. I am not sure if Miller/ Smith are familiar with typical industry procedures to keep the liability lawyers away and avoid the next accident when you use high-pressure oxygen gas? For those that have seen an aluminum oxygen manifold that ignited and melted: it makes one a believer in why High-pressure Oxygen gas demands special attention and procedures.
